Early C16 house. Four bay timber frame. Modern pargetting on brick base. Steep old
tile roof with central brick stack. Two storeys, 4 windows. East front to lane,
symmetrical, with central projecting tiled porch, door approached by steps on south.
Modern casements to sides and 2 gabled dormers. Modern casements to other sides.
Interior. Large amount of exposed timber frame on both floors. Heavy beams. Large
cambered ceiling beam inside south wall. Tudor brick fireplace in north ground floor
room with heavy oak beam over. Old flint and brick garden wall attached to south-east
corner of house. C19 cowhouse to north, modern pargetting, old red tile roof. C19
weatherboarded stables beyond.
