The Parish Church of Sale dedicated to St. Paul opened by Lady Brooks on 30th June 1883 Tower added in 1910 the gift of Miss. Elizabeth Hilton in Memory of her late brother William Hughes Hilton Solicitor of the City of Manchester and both of The Woodlands, Dane Road, Sale and both interred in the family Vault in Sale (Brooklands) Cemetery.
