House. C17 or, earlier, brick in S jamb of fireplace inscribed "ID1677",
which may date the chimney. Timber frame on stuccoed plinth, roughcast
and steep half-hipped thatched roof with 2 eyebrow dormers at eaves. l½
storeys, 3-cells, internal chimney plan house facing S with entrance up
steps a third from W end. 2 3-light flush casement windows with lattice
leaded glazing and plank door. C20 extension linked at NE not of special
interest. Interior has axial beams, 2 service rooms at W end, only hall
heated originally but late flue attached for parlour fireplace. (Bailey
(1980)19).
