1904-5 by Halsey Riccardo. One of a pair of identical houses by this architect
(see also 'Elm Tree House','Letchworth Lane). Two and a half storeys. Double-fronted
with 3 windows and central, gabled entrance bay. Tiled roof. Brick stack
with moulded cap. Gault brickwork (Arlesey White bricks), of a type rarely
used at Letchworth, for aesthetic reasons. Weather-boarded gables. Brick
arches to segmental arched openings. Mullioned casement windows (ground floor
with transoms) with glazing bars. Entrance with half-glazed door. One storey
hipped service range at rear.
