House. 1912, by C M Crickmer. Roughcast over brick, with mock timber
framing to jettied first floor of centre; tripped plain tile roof; brick
stacks to rear and external lateral stack to left of front. Rectangular
plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Roof is swept down to right of gabled
stair turret situated to right of centre and is balanced by lateral stack
with diaperwork to left. Central door and wood casements with glazing bars;
stair turret has semi-circular arched brick tympanum arch over tall stair
light with glazing similar casements and half dormers to rear.
Interior: blue-tile fireplace Flanked by original cupboards to centre; stick-
baluster staircase.
