1904-5 by Halsey Ricardo. One of a pair of identical houses by this architect
(see also 'West Field', Hitchin Road). Two and a half storeys. Double-fronted
with 3 windows and central, gabled entrance bay. Tiled roof. Brick stack
with moulded cap. Gault brickwork (Arlesey White bricks), of a type rarely
used at Letchworth. Weather-boarded gables. Brick archer to segmental arched
openings. Mullioned casement windows (ground floor with transoms) with glazing
bars. Entrance with half-glazed-door and later porch addition. One storey,
hipped, service range at rear.
