Barn. C16. Timber frame on brick sill, dark weatherboarded with
steep roof now of corrugated iron. A 3-bay barn facing S with
central gabled porch on S. Double doors with small winnowing
door in blocked opening for double doors at N. Heavy jowled
posts with curved braces to cambered tie-beams. Curved tension
braces in walls. Inclined queen-post roof with strainer over
middle of midstray, and curved wind braces to the single purlin
in each slope.
