House. C16 or earlier W wing, C20 extensions to rear and later
to E c1960. W wing timber framed roughcast with steep pitched
old red tile roof hipped with gablets. E extension similar with
half-timbering. 2-storeys with 3- and 4-light flush wooden
casement windows. W wing represents a cross-wing of a larger
house formerly extending to E. It has a boldly jettied S end to
road with a chamfered knee bracket at each end. External red
brick lateral chimney on W rebuilt. 3 windows front with
battened door into lower part of W wing, and gabled 2-storeys
half timbered projection to right. (RCHM Typescript).
