House. C17, extended in early C19 with C19 shopfront. Timber
frame roughcast with stucco plinth. Steep old red tile roofs.
Lower pitched slate roofs to extensions. 2 storeys T plan house
facing S with W gable end to road and 2 storeys rear wing in
middle of N side. Central chimney in S block at meeting of roof
ridges. Rear slope of roof continued in catslide over kitchen in
NE angle. NW angle filled by C19 2 storeys wing projecting to N
with gable chimney. Similar wing projects from W end of S front
and W facade to road unified with 4 flush box sash windows with
6/6 panes to 1st floor and shopfront in gable of older house. A
central half-glazed door between canted bays linked by a fascia.
Side-purlin roofs.
