House. C16 or early C17. Timber frame roughcast with panelled
pargetting on S end and plastered brick plinth. Steep old red
tile half-hipped roof with steeper catslide continuation over
rear outshot. 2 storeys, 3-unit plan, lobby-entry, central-
chimney plan house facing E. Red brick central chimney a third
from S end and later small external gable chimney at N, at
downhill end. Front has a plaster eaves cove, 3 3-light C18
flush Yorkshire sliding casement windows to each floor, and a
smaller window over the door. Boarded door up 2 steps in a plain
doorcase with lean-to tiled hood on brackets. Small rectangular
ground floor oriel on brackets at S gable end. Central chimney
originally rose in front of ridge and has been widened. Tumbled
brick offsets to N gable chimney.
