4/12 Farmhouse at Home Farm

GV II

Farmhouse. Late C17, early C19 S wing. Timber frame plastered
with red brick gable walls plastered. Red tiled steep roof. S
wing red brick with E wall plastered and hipped slate roof.
Central staircase and end chimneys 2-room plan house with outshot
on N. Symmetrical S front with 3 windows and coved eaves
cornice. 3 flat topped casement dormers. Internal gable
chimneys. Cross-window set flush over door. 3-light casement
windows to each side on both floors. Cellar access flap under RH
window. Central 6-panel half-glazed door under flat hood on bold
shaped brackets.
