House. Early C18, with C19 alterations and additions to rear; renovations
of 1985-86. Brick, colour-washed. Pantile roof. 2-room central lobby-
entry plan with later continuous rear outshut. 2 storeys with attic, 3
bays; symmetrical. Recessed C20 half-glazed door flanked by 16-pane sliding
sashes with sills beneath cambered brick arches. 3 similar first-floor
windows. Dentilled brick eaves cornice. Central stack with brick band and
corbelled cornice. Interior. Good inglenook fireplace to ground floor left
with chamfered cranked timber bressumer; similar truncated bressumer to
ground floor right. Good pegged oak collared rafter roof with pairs of
staggered butt purlins.
