SX 98 SE LYMPSTONE STRAND (off) Lympstone

5/51 Limeburning kilns immediately
- east of Lympstone Harbour

- II

2 limeburning kilns. Probably early C19. Limestone and brick. 1 kiln with brick
and limestone pointed arch, now used as a store, the other with an elliptical brick
arch and limestone jambs, the interior (blocked) brick lined. Both kilns are set in
a coursed rubble limestone wall.
