Farmhouse. Circa early C19. Rendered cob and rubble walls. Gable-ended slate
roof. Projecting rendered gable-end stacks with brick shafts. Brick stack at
right-hand end of rear outshut. Plan: 2-room plan with probably integral rear
outshut, right-hand room of which is heated, performing service functions. The
staircase rises from a central passageway between the 2 front rooms of which the
left-hand one is the kitchen, the right-hand one parlour.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front of early C19 16-pane sashes with
contemporary latticed wooden porch at centre which has moulded cornice to doorhood
above and 6-panel door behind.
Interior: fairly complete joinery including 6-panel doors and staircase with column
newel and stick balusters. The chimneypiece in the parlour is likely to be original
and has a Regency basket grate.
