18/245 Morish headstone approximately 35
- metres south-south-west of the
tower of the Church of St Giles


Headstone. Dated 1784 in memory of Prudence Morish. Slate. Upright slab with
shaped head standing approximately 500 millimetres high. Each side of the front are
carved fluted columns and segmental arch over and at the apex a calligraphic style
skull and crossbones. It is inscribed in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering
and records the death of Prudence Morish in 1784.
