GV. II
Farmhouse. Mid/late C17; bays to left and right added and
refronted c. 1830. Colourwashed render over cob and stone;
gabled slate roof; brick left end and ridge stacks. C17
two-unit plan extended to 5-unit plan in C19. 2 storeys;
5-window range. Symmetrical 3-window range to left of front has
C19 six-panelled (2 glazed) door and flat rendered arches over
late C19 horned plate-glass sashes flanking door and on first
floor to left; late C19 two-light casement to first-floor window
on right. Two bays to right of this range have C19 three-light
casements. C19 slatestone outshut to rear; former dairy in right
room of outshut, has two C19 shuttered windows. Interior: main
range to left has mid C19 staircase to centre and ogee-stopped
chamfered beams in room on right. C17 A-frame trusses above.
Service stairs to rear right.
