Description


FRITHELSTOCK SS41NW 10/94 Higher Hollamoor Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Noted as being late medieval with C17 remodelling and later alterations. Colourwashed render over cob and stone; gabled corrugated iron roof; C17 left end stack and front lateral stack of rendered stone with drip courses. Noted as having had medieval open-hall plan, remodelled in C17 as 2-storey, three-unit plan. Two storey front elevation has 3 sections, positioned along slope, with fenestration of 2:2:1 bays. Timber lintel over C20 door to right of lateral stack. Flat rendered arches over early/mid C19 two to 3-light casements. Bay to right, without windows, has late C19 one-storey extension to front, with gabled slate roof. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
