House, part of a row, and adjoining nos. 1 and 9 (q.v). Early 1830s. Cob, stone
plinth, plastered, under a slate roof. Axial and right-hand end stacks with brick
shafts. 2 storeys.
Front: 3 window range; the 2 right-hand windows forming a symmetrical frontage
with a central doorway under a simple canopy on shaped brackets with architrave;
all windows with hornless 8-pane sashes, some retaining crown glass, with raised
surrounds. The left-hand window (identically treated but its sill slightly higher
than the others) is placed above a wagon entrance with boarded double doors. Strip
quoins. All 1st floor window lintels connected by a continuous horizontal band at
eaves level.
