Cottage forming part of a row. Late C17. Roughcast cob; gable end asbestos tiled
roof. Single-cell house plan with cross-passage to the left, and later rear
extensions. Internal rear lateral stack with brick shaft. 2 storeys. Exterior
Front: 2 window range, with 2 ground floor windows to right of entrance; all C20
casements. Interior: ground floor room with chamfered cross ceiling beam with
eroded step stops. Stud and plaster partition between this room and passage. Roof
timbers appear to have been largely replaced. Copper's Cottage forms part of a row
of C16 and C17 buildings (of Spratt's Cottage, The Cottage, Rose Cottage).
