Cottage forming part of a row. Possibly C17. Roughcast cob; gable end asbestos
slate roof. 2-room, cross-passage plan house, the principal rooms to either side of
the passage; axial stack shared with Copper's Cottage to the left (q.v.) 2 storeys.
Exterior Front: almost symmetrical 3 window range; first floor with small 2-light
C19 casement windows; one 3-light casement window to either side of central glazed
door. 3 single light first floor windows to rear with C20 extensions. Interior not
fully inspected, but chamfered cross ceiling beam with step stops visible in right-
hand room.
Spratt's Cottage forms part of an attractive row of C16 and C17 buildings with
Copper's Cottage and The Cottage (q.v.) adjacent.
