2 cottages. Probably late C18-early C19. Plastered cob on rubble footings; cob
or rubble stacks topped with C19 and C20 brick, one is plastered; thatch roof. Pair
of probably contemporary 2-room plan cottages facing north. No 7 on left (east) end
has large projecting end stack and No. 8 on right (west) end has axial stack in
party wall with adjoining No. 9. 2 storeys.
Overall 4-window front of late C19 and C20 replacement casements with glazing bars.
Both have roughly central doors, No. 7 a C19 plank door and No. 8 with a C20
replacement. At extreme left end (No. 7) a Victorian post box is set in the wall.
Roof is gable-ended.
Interior: no carpentry detail is exposed and fireplaces are blocked. Roofs not
inspected.
