House, formerly 2 cottages. Probably C18 with C20 extension. Plastered cob on
rubble footings; stone rubble stacks topped with C19 and C20 brick; thatch roof.
Originally a pair of 1-room plan cottages facing south with end stacks. C20
extension to rear of left (west) room. 2 storeys. Originally a symmetrical 4-
window front now of late C19 casements with glazing bars including close-set
central pair of small single light windows at first floor level. Original central
pair of doorways, that to right now blocked by C20 fixed pane window and that to
left now a C20 glazed door and gabled and shingle-roofed porch. Roof hipped each
end.
Interior: has plain carpentry detail. Both rooms have roughly-chamfered crossbeams
and large rubble fireplaces with roughly-chamfered oak lintels. Roof not
inspected.
