House, former small farmhouse. Late Cl8-early C19, modernised circa 1960.
Plastered cob on rubble footings; stone rubble stack topped with C20 brick; thatch
roof.
3-room, lobby entrance plan house facing south-east. Unheated room at right
(north-eastern) end. Large axial stack with back-to-back fireplaces serving main
rooms. Circa 1960 flat-roofed extension to rear. 2 storeys. Front has 4 ground
floor and 3 first floor windows all similar late C19-early C20 or replacement
casements with glazing bars. Doorway left of centre now contains C20 stable door
and has C20 porch with gabled thatch roof on rustic posts. Roof is half-hipped to
right and hipped to,left.
Interior: shows plain and roughly-finished carpentry detail. Roof not inspected.
