Cottage. C18. Stone core, roughcast and whitewashed, gabled-ended double-Roman
tiled roof, brick stack to the right on the ridge.
Plan and development: 2 room plan, direct entry into the parlour to the right, this
heated by a gable fireplace to the right, unheated room now a kitchen to the left.
The interior much remodelled C20. Originally part of row of cottages, probably of
similar date, the remainder now demolished.
Exterior: 2 storeys, almost symmetrical 3 window range 2- and 3-light C19 casements
with glazing bars. Central door opening, C19 half-glazed door, shallow roughcast
porch with a double-Roman tiled roof. Railed forecourt, wrought iron gate to the
centre.
Interior: the parlour fireplace with an unchamfered wooden bressumer, unchamfered
ceiling beams also in this room.
Roof: probably reroofed C19.
