Formerly and probably originally, an inn, now divided into 3 flats. Circa
1830s. Slate ruble with brick window dressings and stone stringcourses.
Grouted scantle slate hipped roof. Rendered chimney stack on left hand
side wall.
Plan: Almost square plan except that rear wall is not parallel with
front wall. Double depth plan with 2 principal front rooms and central
entrance passage and possibly smaller service room at the back. The
central passage has been retained but the plan at the back has been
altered internally.
Exterior: 3 storeys. Symmetrical 3-bay front. Original 12-pane sashes
with red brick jambs and painted brick flat arches. Central painted
brick round arch doorway with semi-circular fanlight with radiating
glazing bars and original 6-panel door, top panels glazed. Projecting
stone stringcourse at
first and second floor level.s
Interior: Only the ground storey was briefly seen.
