14/371 Leigh Bridge (or Lee
Bridge)
GV II
Road bridge over Harbourne River. Probably C18. Slate rubble. Two round
arches with dressed slate arch rings and probably later cutwater against the
central pier on the upstream side. Long abutments forming causeway on the
north east side. Original parapets with vertical slate lacing.
Probably built before 1809 when James Green, the County surveyor mentions a
2-arch bridge.
