Formerly Congregational, built 1820, rebuilt 1895-6 echoing Regency style. Red
brick with stucco and buff brick dressings. Pedimented front with giant Ionic
columns between antae supporting entablature, tall windows in shouldered stucco
frames carried up as relieving arches. Hipped annexes with pilaster-strip quoins
and eaves cornice of grey brick, containing stucco doorways with bulgy frieze
and cornice and paired round-arched windows with red terracotta hoodmoulds and
sills. Flanks have lean-to aisles with similar pilaster strips, eaves and round-arched windows, continuous clerestory strip with arched glazing bars. Attached hall at rear with some stucco pilasters and hoodmoulds to north, gabled porch to south. Set in old graveyard.
