Picturesque stucco building, circa 1840, with 2-storey stucco gable to road;
sash window with Tudor hoodmould to each floor. Overhanging eaves, pierced bargeboards
bluish brick chimney on ridge. Lean-to porch, also with pierced bargeboard,
has weatherboarded half-gable with decorative fringe over recessed panelled door.
Flanks and rear of pinkish brick, shallow segmental heads to ground floor windows,
1st floor window rising into eaves.

The Village School and Schoolhouse, Holdenhurst Road (Holdenhurst Village) form
a group.
