SK 25 NW PARISH OF BALLIDON OFF ASHBOURNE ROAD

Ballidonmoor Farmhouse and
attached outbuildings

GV II

Farmhouse. Late C18 and mid-C19. Coursed squared limestone with sandstone
dressings. Plain tile roof with stone gable end stacks and two stone ridge
stacks. Three storeys. South elevation, four bays, right to left. 2-light
flush mullion window with a slight chamfer. Similar window above and above
again. To the left, doorway with lintel and quoins, C19 six panelled door, the
top two panels glazed. To the left, three tiers of windows as before and a
similar doorway and three more windows as before. To the left, a C19 gabled
bay extension with outbuildings projecting south at the join. A 3-light mullion
window to the ground floor with 2-light window above and above again.
