C18. 2 houses, red brick, No 4 with parapet. Tiled roofs. 2 storeys and
No 5 has 2 attic dormers. 11 windows in all, sashes, those of No 4 with
late C19 glazing,those of No 5 mostly unbarred. No 4 has a doorway with pilasters, projecting cornice and door of 6 moulded panels, the top 2
now glazed, No 5 has doorway in moulded architrave with pediment and door
of 5 moulded panels, additional door at south-east side of facade.
The United Reform Church with its attached Sunday Schools and graveyards on
both sides of the street forms a group with The Cottage and with Nos 4 and 5.
