Cottages, C17 with mid C18 additions. Whitewashed rubble and brick (Flemish bond), thatched roof with half-hipped ends. Stacks at right end and at centre of left cottage. L-plan with half-hipped gable facing the road to the right. Two storey, four window range. Two-, three- and four-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars. Leaded-lights in two left window ranges. Timber and C20 steel lintels. Internally there is a deep chamfered beam and a heavy wooden door frame in the kitchen of No 85.
