Rear building range of
No 5 Bridge Street

Building, possibly cottage now office, possibly C16 (RCHM). Whitewashed
coursed rubble to the right and brick (mainly Flemish bond) to left. Upper
floor is jettied and clad in corrugated iron. Ground floor has a double fixed-
light window with no glazing bars. The first floor has a 4-pane, 2-light wooden
casement. C19 plank door to left. The jetty has projecting timber beams with
moulded ends. Much of the interior has C19 panelled but one ceiling has a
chamfered beam. "RCHM, Dorset Vol III", HMSO, 1970, p 281 no 38.
