4/72 Bagber School House


School, now house, dated 1865. Brick (Flemish bond), ornamental tile roof
with gable ends, ashlar dressings, stacks with terra cotta flues. Asymmetric
composition. Single storey and attic. Projecting gabled cross-wing to right.
2 and Flight stone-mullioned windows with ashlar surrounds. 2-light C20
wooden casement with glazing bars in the roof. Gabled porch set diagonally
between main range and wing. Gabled porch to left of main range. Staged stack
with ashlar dressings and octagonal flue projecting from front wail. Carved
stone coat of arms bearing crown and dog in gable of projecting wing.
