GV II

Public house. C16 origin, C17 additions to left with later and circa 1905
alterations and additions. Timber framed and rough rendered. Red plain tiled
roofs. 2 storeys and attics. House with right and left gabled crossings, C20
central feature gable, right and left angled 2 storey bays, single storey grey
slate porch supported by cast iron columns with ornate scrolled brackets extends
between the crosswings. 2 external left and one external right red brick
chimney stacks. Red brick stack to rear ridge of left crosswing. Batten
decoration to gables, right and left with a square light, central gable with a
triangular light. Angled bays with 2 light transomed casements. 3 similar
central first floor and a single ground floor window to right and left of which
are C20 glazed doors. C18/C19 north oriel. RCHM 7.
