Shop and office, formerly a house. C16/C17 or earlier with later alterations
and additions. Timber framed and plastered. Red plain tiled roofs. No
chimneys visible from road. Central gabled crosswing. Lower roof level to
right range (Abbey National B.S. office). 2 storeys. 1:1:1 small paned
casement windows to first floor. Ground floor left range and gable with C19
shop front of 2 light windows, panelled side pilasters, frieze and flat
canopies. Central recessed shop door, pilasters, moulded frieze, flat canopy on
brackets. Right range, reveal panels to C20 door, C20 shop window, slanting
canopy on brackets. To the left is a 2 storey infill building with a first
floor casement window and double garage doors.
