A late C19 re-fronting of a timber framed building, which is partly visible
at the rear. Of red brick in Flemish bond, 2 storeys on an L-plan. Roof
parapetted, with 5 sunken panels with cusped corners. Three hornless
sashes on first storey under segmental arches. Central door in a wide
case with rectangular light above it and semi-hexagonal bay windows either
side of it, with slated hip-roofs. A large timber building attached to
the rear is clad in black weatherboards, and has ridged, gabled, and peg-tiled
roofs. This rear building is on a cross-plan and has a red brick chimney
stack with 2 diagonally set shafts. Late C16. No fenestration.
