The Old Fedstone School Pardon Hall

Uploader's Comments

In 1955, this was "Fedstone School" a private primary school for boys and girls.
It had stables, horses and would take in foriegn (European) studants during holidays, so they could learn English and an English way of life.
The senior school was Kingsmoore House in Gt. Parndon, this was a private school also, but this was only for girls.
The owners of the schools were the Claire Family, but I don't know what happened to them. I left the school at Kingsmoore house, which was my home during holidays and went to Australia when my mother died in July 1959 when my mother who worked and lived at the school died. I have been back on 2 occasions.
