House. C18 or earlier with C19 and later additions and alterations. Timber
framed and weatherboarded. Red plain tiled roofs. Main (left) range with right
and left red brick chimney stacks, C19 forward right range with right chimney
stack, gabled and outshot rear ranges. 2 storeys. 3:1 window range of
vertically sliding sashes, small paned to left range with horns to right range.
Flat roofed C19 ground floor bays, central 4-panelled door with side lights,
approached by 3 stone steps, iron balusters to curved side rails. Slanting
porch on moulded brackets, elaborate detail to cornice. Internal vertically
sliding shutters to front ground floor window. C18 and C19 4 marble fire
surrounds, 2 other moulded fire surrounds, 4 with cast iron inner surrounds
and grates. Moulded cornices to some rooms.
