Includes: St Andrew's Gardens entrance gates, section of south
side railings & monuments WREN STREET.
St Andrew's Holborn Burial Ground, consecrated 1754, now a
public garden. 3 pairs of ornamental wrought-iron entrance
gates and piers of c1885; 2 fronting Gray's Inn Road and 1
fronting Wren Street. Scroll design with open-work box piers,
scroll finials and overthrows. Length of cast-iron railing on
the southern boundary in Wren Street with urn finials. The
garden contains a number of C18 tombs, mostly with weathered
inscriptions, but one is dated 1763. The entrance gates,
length of railing and monuments form a group.
