House. Circa 1700, reworked late C19. Earlier part is of red and grey
bricks, with some timber framing visible to LH gable, and front brickwork
apparently encasing an earlier structure. Later part of yellow brick. Clay
tile roofs. 2-storeyed T-plan, the later cross-wing taller. Original block
has 2 3-light casements to each floor, ground floor ones with gauged brick
flat heads. Cross-wing has 2 2-light casements to each floor, all with gauged
brick slightly cambered heads. All are small-paned metal casements. Plank
door at junction with cross-wing. Open timber porch with tiled gabled hood.
Variety of yellow brick chimney stacks, external one to main block LH gable,
ridge ones elsewhere.
