Two houses. Late C18. Brick (painted to No 57); roof not
visible. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys. Front: 3 windows, the
centre blanks to mark position of stairs. 8 and 16-pane sashes
in reveals under rubbed brick flat arches to all floors except
ground floor to No 57 which was late C20 inserted shop window.
Paired central doorways under round-headed arches; doors
(panelled to No 55, half-glazed to No 57) under fanlight with
glazing bars. Rear with some tripartite sashes.
