Mid C19 range in Tudor style. Three storeys, nine windows in all, three in centre
and others in full height battlemented canted outer bays (left outer windows blocked
on upper floors and battlements lost). Continuous cornice (also missing at left).
Pointed heads to lights of casement windows in splayed jambs, those on first floor
under hoodmoulds. Two modern ground floor shops. Nos 141 and 143 have doors
with fancy panelling, No 145 a plain door. Tudor arched fanlights No 141 has
tracery, the others with hoodmoulds. No 141 has triple nook shafts continuing
over door arch. Three steps with wrought iron handrails.
