Cottage and former forge. C18. Flemish bond brick. Thatched roof; brick ridge
and left external stacks. 3-unit plan. One storey and attic; 2-window range.
One-unit, single-storey one-window range to right, probably formerly forge. C20
ribbed door and thatched rustic porch. C19 three-light casements to right have
brick segmental arches. Eyebrow dormers have 2-light wood and iron casements.
Horizontal glazing bars. Lower range has altered Clq casement and plank
shutters. C20 addition to right is not of special architectural interest. Left
return side has external stack with wide chimney breast. Timber framed gable has
brick infill. C19 brick: lean-to to rear has slate roof. Interior not inspected.
