Farmhouse. Rear of c.1770, remodelled and new front added early C19; late
C19-early C20 bay windows and porch. Squared limestone to front, coursed
rubble to sides and rear. Brick dressings and stacks. Concrete porch.
Pantile roof to rear section, slates to front. Double-depth plan, with
central entrance hall front and rear kitchen extension. 2 storeys, 3 bays;
symmetrical. Stucco quoins. Projecting Tuscan columned porch with moulded
cornice and flat hood over 6-panelled door under 3-pane overlight in
architrave. Ornate canted bay windows with sashes to either side. First
floor 16-pane flush sashes with stucco flat arches and cills. Wooden
modillioned eaves cornice. Double-span roof with tumbled-in brick to
gables; stone coping and shaped kneelers to front. End stacks. Interior:
open well staircase with ramped and wreathed handrail and plain balusters;
moulded ceiling cornices and panelled doors in architraves to front.
