School and school house. 1863 by G.E. Street. Stone with red brick
and stone dressings. Plain-tiled roofs. Roughly cruciform plan with
house to south and schoolroom forming long arm of cross to north.
One and a half storey house; tall steeply pitched roof with half hips,
stacks at junction of house and schoolroom and to west of house.
East Elevation:- low, one storey gable to left with coupled sashes,
tall gable to house with coupled sashes on each floor, schoolroom to
right with half hipped cross gable above 3-light plate traceried window
in two-centred arch to centre, 2 tall coupled lights to right. South
Elevation:- gable with coupled sashes on each floor to left, roof
carried down on brackets to form canopy over boarded door in two-
centred arched opening off centre to right. B.O.E. Berkshire p.l02.
