Group of 12 headstones and 12 footstones. C18. Commemorate various members of
the Pitt and Benwell families. Stone footstones have initials and date only. Stone carved
headstones of varying designs mostly seraphims. Names and dates are mostly eroded.
The second from the left is a Benwell monument dated 1725; the fifth is a Pitt monument
dated 1747; and the sixth is dated 1747.
