churchyard of Church of St.
Mary, about 6 metres south of
west end of nave

2 headstones and 2 footstones. c1782 and c1783, commemorating members of the Benwell
family. Stone. Carved headstones with urn in centre, flanked with garlands; skulls in
base. Plain grave covers. The left footstone is inscribed "1782. Mary" and the one on
the right "1783. Ann".
