School, c1850. Brick, stone quoins and dressings, hexagonal slate roof.
T-plan with hall block to front, and irregular lower blocks at rear.
One storey. Front block: simple bellcote on ridge, carved bargeboards,
lower centre gabled porch with keyed round window in gable and 3-centred
arched entrance, boarded door and ribbed transome light. Large stone
dressed window to either side with casements and glazing bars. End gables
with tall mullioned windows with glazing bars, with cusped pointed arch
heads. Lower wing on left behind with tall decorated brick stacks, and
lower gable in centre with 2-light window with cusped heads. Late C20
extension at rear (this part not listed).
