7/2 Poundgreen Farmhouse

Hall house, now farmhouse. Early C16 extended C17, altered early C18 and
C19. Mostly brick with vitreous headers in part, and part timber framed.
Old tiled gabled roof. L-plan with 2 x 1 framed bays and outshot at rear
in angle. 2 storeys. Flanking chimneys on left and C17 chimney on
ridge in centre. South front: toothed brick eaves. 3 irregular bays of
3-light small pane C19 casements, similar but taller on ground floor,
window on right blocked; to left of this a C20 small pane glazed door.
Above this a date stone inscribed P'B East Front: One bay gable with
1730
one bay of 2-light C19 iron casements to right of centre, planked entrance
door to left with pent tile roof on carved brackets. Interior: Large
inglenook chimney and some timber frame exposed.
