Small house. Late C19 'Muscular' Gothic. Brick with strings and raised
diapering in burnt headers, stone dressings, pointed polychromatic brick arches
with terracotta decorative tiling in tympana over some windows, others bays.
Slate half hipped roof with 2 double courses of fish scale slates, decorative
iron ridge tiles and finials. 2 chimneys with offset dentil heads. Plan
irregular. 2 storeys and 1½ storeys on east. Mixed sash and casement windows
in irregular elevations. Closed entrance porch on south east corner with
quatrefoil window adjoining narrow window in stone surround, and original
herringbone planked wooden door with ornate wrought iron strap hinges; small
open carved wooden roof truss on chamfered wood posts with pointed arch
between, supporting pent slate roof.
